EPC is excited to announce the appointment of Rob Allen as our new Operations Director for EPC Ltd.
Rob is an accomplished manufacturing leader and longstanding member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE) who has held previous Director roles in a range of manufacturing business sectors.
He has a qualified mechanical engineering background and successful track record within aerospace, motorsport and food industries, including everything from low volume and bespoke precision engineering to high volume production. In each case he has applied his knowledge and experience of production processes, installing lean manufacturing methodologies and leading transformational initiatives to improve productivity and efficiency.
However, Rob’s engineering interests extend beyond his work. At his home he has a a full machine workshop including fabrication and welding equipment for his engineering projects, which include restoring and customising motorcycles.
Rob has recently relocated to South Wales due to his wife Katie being originally from the Cardiff area and they are currently buying a property in the Abergavenny area. His passion is Scuba Diving, particularly wreck diving, and he also enjoys Snowboarding and riding Motorcycles.
Rob has been with us for some weeks already and we can report a flourishing relationship and exciting developments already in progress. We at EPC would like to welcome Rob and look forward to a bright future.
